Interactive Private "1-on-1"
or "Small-Group" Lessons!
How does this work? It's Easy!
1) Just check our "Class Calendar" for the classes you want to take and click the link in the listing to sign up. (Click "View Lesson Schedule" under the calendar to see all the class listings) When you sign up for a lesson, you'll get an email from the teacher confirming your class date and time, along with any preparatory items you may need. (Artwork, lesson plan, etc.)
2) At the appointed class time just click the "JOIN MEETING" button on our website and login to the class. Connect to the class "party line" with your phone where you can hear the teacher and ask questions when you need to.
3) You'll see the teacher's computer screen on your computer as if you were sitting right next to her! Listen to the instructions, ask questions, and interract just as if she were sitting at your computer alongside of you.
Why Did We Create The Online Lessons At DW?
We've heard from our members over and over again that they'd LIKE to learn how to digitize but...
There is nobody in their area that teaches their software
Or there is a class but it's only offered once a year
Or there are monthly classes but only on Tuesday mornings and I can't do Tuesdays!
There IS a solution to this problem and you're looking at it right now! Digitizer+ members at DW are now able to teach online classes using our state-of-the-art distance-learning system!
Live Classes Start Tuesday November 13th!
Check Calendar For Class Listings!
You can join a "Group lesson" OR schedule a "one-on-one" training session with one of the teachers here. The one-on-one lessons are great for more advanced students, and the group classes are great for beginners and those on a really tight budget.
Each teacher sets their own lesson prices and DW simply provides the system for you and the teacher to use. The only requirement is that you have a computer hooked to the internet via DSL, cable, or satelite (Sorry -- dialup modems are just too slow to work for this high-powered live video system!) and a phone. We suggest that you use a phone that allows you to plug in a headset (available everywhere) and that isn't going to have the battery go dead halfway into the lesson!
That's it! A simple, convenient, reliable way to take lessons on the software you want to learn. Just click the 'Class Calendar' to find lessons you want to take!
